The repertoire of Wayang Golek puppet theater includes the Ramayana and the Mahabharata Hindu epics, as well as Islamic and indigenous folk tales. These colorful performances by puppet masters are accompanied by song and the Gamelan orchestra, and are part of the rich cultural heritage of Indonesia.
