Ojime are the sliding bead on the cord of an inro box that were traditionally worn on the obi belt of Japanese kimono. Antique ojime were made from many materials including ivory, silver, pewter and are highly collectable and interesting. These handcarved boxwood beads are inspired by antique Japanese ojime and are hand carved by contemporary Chinese master-carvers.
